Triumph

All of our hard work and planning paid off. Student Council member and President of WSU NBOBA chapter Darry Tucker did an excellent presentation to counter our prior rejections. Our chief of staff Mr. Thompson mobilized an entire African Studies class. I would like to thank the Black community for their turn out in support. I would also like to thank those who dislike and try to hinder our organization-because of you we were able to mobilize more people and recruit more members. I love you and thank you Black America. Lets Keep Banging! By the way for the fascist leaving negative comments about me right back at you babe.
The 4th annual State of Black Youth will be on 11/18/05. Look out for promo material.
Do not forget to come out to our Young Black & Ambitious Party this Sunday 9-18-05 @ 5th Avenue Downtown in Comerica Park from 9p-2a.

Peace

Peace my brother. I just want to enlighten the people on the moment, because it was truly a historical moment and victory for our organization.

It had to be so damn ice cold in that room. I bet they never thought that they would see our faces ever again in front of that racist, white-washed council, but we had the audacity to show up. Not only did we show up but how dare I bring my entire Africana Studies 6150 Class, Professor included! What would possess my teacher to require the class to go to the meeting? Also why the hell would the Chair of the African Studies Dept. be bold enough to show up in front of the Council and speak on our behalf and even offered to contribute to the event? Do we not know our place? Somebody forgot to tell us this yesterday, because the look on their faces said it ALL!

Perserverence.

My brothers and sisters when we unite together like this we will when every battle that we fight. We will persevere.

Peace
Dennis Thompson

Hi, I'm a new student at WSU and I'm really excited about this group. I was wondering what exactly Afeni will be speaking about. Also, I've heard of another group called BAMN, which is dedicated to defending Affirmative Action "by any means neccesary." Do you know anything about that group Mohammed? It might be a good one to connect with.
