The State of the Black Youth

God is truly on OUR side. Our 4th Annual State of the Black Youth Convention was a huge success. Oh yes, at least 750 people were in attendance and the vendors fair was fantastic. All the speakers were on point. Ms. Afeni Shakur held it down like we knew she would. Even our harshest critics were in attendance. Stay tuned for pics of the event. I would like to send a special thanks to the entire Black community that attended. Also special thanks to Dawoud, Crystal, Jessica, Damon, Shea, Assante, Jilani,Sereesa,krish,Glenisha,Malika, Ijala, Abdul Rakman,Dennis, Jamere all tha Aks, and official supporters and members, and last but not least the "TIGER". Praise God.

Thank you for giving us a reason

It seems that the same people who choose to leave negative comments anonymously about the the NBOBA want to up the anti. These cowards lack the heart to put their names behind their comments and their news paper articles. Well we know who you are therefore we shall implement the tactics of President Bush "1st strike". Lets get ready to rumble. In 48 business hours the NBOBA will strike back.

Another classic Party!Young Black & Ambitious

Words 2 riches Spelling B

On Monday November 7th, the NBOBA & WSU community affairs committee hosted our 1st Annual Words 2 riches spelling B. It was a tremendous success and the 4th an 5th graders that participated were sent from the heavens to grace our community. The winner was Mr. Blake Calloway. He will be presented with his award at our 4th Annual State of the Black Youth in the New Millennium Convention by Ms. Afeni Shakur. Special thanks to all NBOBA members and official supporters for your show of support. To Dawoud, Dennis, Jamere, Damon, Jessica, Ijala, Krish, Glenisha, Zack, Marissa and all others that showed support- peace and love.
