The State of the Black Youth
God is truly on OUR side. Our 4th Annual State of the Black Youth Convention was a huge success. Oh yes, at least 750 people were in attendance and the vendors fair was fantastic. All the speakers were on point. Ms. Afeni Shakur held it down like we knew she would. Even our harshest critics were in attendance. Stay tuned for pics of the event. I would like to send a special thanks to the entire Black community that attended. Also special thanks to Dawoud, Crystal, Jessica, Damon, Shea, Assante, Jilani,Sereesa,krish,Glenisha,Malika, Ijala, Abdul Rakman,Dennis, Jamere all tha Aks, and official supporters and members, and last but not least the "TIGER". Praise God.

I truly enjoyed Ms. Afeni Shakur and all the other speakers. It was inspiring and informative. But being that the event was funded by the school, I wish everyone had the opportunity to meet her. I know its important to maintain order, but the VIP passes was unnecessary. Considering the fact that I am truly touched by Ms. Shakur's story, outside the fact that she is Tupac's(R.I.P) mother. Moreover, I enjoyed the event and look forward to politicing with the NBOBA in the future.
