Thank you for giving us a reason

It seems that the same people who choose to leave negative comments anonymously about the the NBOBA want to up the anti. These cowards lack the heart to put their names behind their comments and their news paper articles. Well we know who you are therefore we shall implement the tactics of President Bush "1st strike". Lets get ready to rumble. In 48 business hours the NBOBA will strike back.

Afeni was awesome. I think she may be the only one that gets requested more than once. I definitely would like to hear from her again. Is there a chance we could get her back ? Another thought would be considering Jasmine Guy (the author of the autobiography of Afeni Shakur).

I think I may now have actually used it more than Luwemba; by the way, why did your parents take you to this dreadful place? Why don't you take your Marcus Garvey behind back to Paradise, and leave this Black-God forsaken place?

I attended the State of the Black Youth Conference and I was inspired to know that I am not the only young black person who feels so strongly about black people and the "high - tech slavery" that we are in. I have read the blogs on this site and it makes me sad and angry to know that people including some black people feel that we are on an equal playing field with the rest of Americans and that we have nothing to complain about. They are wrong and there is nothing racist about wanting our race to be successful. I agree with Afeni Shakur about needing to protect and uplift our children and I believe that your organization is taking the necessary steps to help. I appreciate not what you are trying to do, but what you are doing. I would love to join this organization and help out because I honestly believe that helping black people move forward is my ultimate life purpose. Please E-mail me information on how I can join at aj4275@wayne.edu

Congratulations on the event last Friday. I thought the event was really good! I especially liked the presentation of Judge Wade McCree! Afeni Shakur seemed like someone's aunt with a sense of peacefulness about herself. I enjoyed the event again!

stay positive
